Plaid Cymru MP Jonathan Edwards and Conservative Simon Hart MP have joined forces to oppose the US import ban on Welsh lamb.
The two MPs, who represent neighbouring Carmarthenshire constituencies, are pictured on a visit to Washington DC during which they looked into trading arrangements between the US and UK.
"Imports of all beef and lamb from the UK were stopped in 1989 in after the BSE outbreak, and the ban is still in place 27 years later," said Mr Hart.
"Jonathan and I met and lobbied key US officials during our trip to ask them why this ban on Welsh lamb is still in place. "We now export our wonderful lamb to the rest of the world so it is ridiculous that the US still refuses to accept it."
