Simon Hart MP's first Fifty Plus Fair in Tenby was such a success that another is already being planned for Pembroke Dock later this year.
Nearly 100 visitors attended the event in Deer Park Baptist Church Hall to find out more from the 20 stallholders who attended.
"This was stepping into the unknown a bit for us as I haven't organised one of these events before but the feedback from the stallholders was that it was the busiest that they have attended and many of them are keen to come to any repeat events," said Mr Hart.
The guest of honour was 103-year-old Tenby resident Elwyn Bowen who took the opportunity to have a cup of coffee and a chat with his MP.
Stallholders included the Stroke Association who were carrying out free blood pressure checks, the Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services who were letting people know about volunteering opportunities, U3A, as well as organisations that help with both mental and physical wellbeing later in life.
"There was a great atmosphere to the day and a real buzz about the event," said Mr Hart. "We made sure that there was plenty of free refreshments and it was a great opportunity for people to find out a lot of useful information in one place – whether it was about pensions or smoke alarms."
