Tavernspite school pupil Annabel Morby's Christmas card will be winging its way to Number 10 Downing Street after coming first in Simon Hart MP's card competition.
As well as winning 500 cards for her school, eight-year-old Annabel's cheerful snowman picture will also adorn Mr Hart's official Christmas card.
"It was a lovely cheery and colourful picture and I'll be sending it to everyone from Port of Milford Haven to David Cameron," said Mr Hart.
"Annabel beat off stiff competition as there were twice as many entries this year as last," he added.
Seven primary schools from across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire sent in entries and the winner was picked by Carmarthenshire artist Jacqueline Smith-Sheppard.
"There were so many wonderful pictures it was a really tough job so I am very grateful to Jacqueline for judging and to all the schools for taking part," said Mr Hart. "A selection of the entries have now gone up in the windows of my office on Whitland's high street so people can see for themselves."
Also winning highly commended for their pictures were Tavernspite pupils Ruben Morgan and Zara Pearce. Six-year-old Ruben is no stranger to artistic success, having exhibited and sold his work in a gallery in St David's over the summer.
